Ryan Christopher is a multi-talented vocalist, recording artist, actor and entertainer specializing in the performance of songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as jazz, international cabaret, blues and contemporary standards.
Currently residing in Southern California, Ryan (age 26) is already performing with some of the most noted figures of jazz. His international album debut of My Time (2021) is receiving world wide airplay on such celebrated shows as The Cocktail Nation (Sydney, Australia) and Penthouse Radio (New York, New York).
Ryan toured in Europe this Summer and appeared at the Victoria Jungfrau Grand Resort & Spa in Interlaken, Switzerland performing with The San Francisco Singing Waiters.
Ryan Christopher began his musical development at age 5, when the musical prodigy began his studies at Carden Conservatory (Huntington Beach, CA). By age 7, he was a featured boy soprano for America Sings: National Musical Festival, performing on stage with John Jacobson for over 5000 people.
In 2005, at age 9, Ryan studied at the Crystal Cathedral Academy soon becoming a featured vocal soloist for the celebrated nationally televised Hour of Power. He also appeared as featured soloist for the Crystal Cathedral's Glory Of Christmas and in concert with piano legend Roger Williams with the Crystal Cathedral Choir and Orchestra.
While attending the Crystal Cathedral Academy, Ryan starred in numerous musical theatre productions. Credits include: Peter in Peter Pan, Oliver in Oliver, Jack in Into The Woods, and Curly in Oklahoma.
Ryan became a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) in 2005, and has appeared in numerous television shows. His credits include: X Files, MONK, Seven Points, Human Target and Eli Stone.
As a classical vocalist Ryan performed as soloist for Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms winning the prestigious Maestro Award at the National Heritage Festival in Chicago, Illinois.
As a studio recording artist he recorded back vocals with noted artists including for Neil Young's America (2011).
After graduating with honors from Ocean View High School (Huntington Beach), Ryan had the calling to dedicate his career to preserving and performing the most elegant, refined, and sophisticated standards, specifically re-interpreting the styling of Frank Sinatra, Mel Tormé, Johnny Hartman and Chet Baker. Though the press and his international fans have dubbed him "The Millennial Crooner," Ryan talents go far beyond the realms of just crooning. Ryan is sought after vocalist, arranger, musical theatre vocalist and actor.
Currently studying privately with internationally recognized vocal and acting coach Cynthia Teske, Ryan is currently preparing for an international career.
Ryan is a loving, compassionate, and well-loved entertainer and in despite is ever busy performance schedule, he dedicates some of his time to perform for active senior citizens, and hospital patients, uplifting all he touches with his beautiful velvet styling and his gracious, angelic heart.
Ryan has a very loving close connection to his mother, Keeli who has acted as his manager ("Momager"), introducing him to the business side of performing.
